Changing video source??

So I have a Macbook running on 10.5.8. My video source always shows up as UVC on sites. I have ManyCam and CamTwist installed because I want to add effects to my pictures while using the webcam, but when I go on a site and try to change the video source, the option for the ManyCam video source or the CamTwist video source is not available.

On my PC, applications like ManyCam and SplitCam worked fine (and it was running on XP). Is my Macbook not able to change video sources or...? What's going on?
