Changing volume up/down buttons on new apple keyboard

I have an exterrnal sound card and it has always bugged me the volume up/down keys don't work.

Was wondering if anybody know a good way to remap them to either itunes volume or even better my devices software volume control?

The sound card is a MOTU Ultralite.
