Changing VR format to video? Is this possible?

Hey,

Alrighty. I accidentally recorded in vr mode on my sony handycam camcorder. Is there any way to convert this back into video mode without losing the information on the disk? Please and Thank you! I appreciate all responses.


Equipment:
sony handycam dcr-dvd 101
mac book pro mac os x version 10.5.5
imovie 08' 7.1.4
DVD-RW disk
