iPhone 11 Pro changing your pre-approval

If anyone wants to change their pre-approval options (phone, form of payment, address) before the actual preorder time for extra quickness, you can chat with Apple and have them cancel your existing pre-approval and create a new one.

I just did it because I wanted to use my Apple Card as a payment method. No app glitches. No hard pull. No problem.

I mean it is 3% cash back. If you pay off your cards each month its probably worth it.

I may be mistaken, but don't you think that the actual re-order process will require payment form to be input again, so that it could be changed? Or is that likely to be fixed and not changeable during check-out?

I used apple chat from the store app. Makes it look like youre sending a text

I may be mistaken, but don't you think that the actual re-order process will require payment form to be input again, so that it could be changed? Or is that likely to be fixed and not changeable during check-out?

I'm not sure if you can change your payment method during the re-order (actual pre-order process?). I assume you can, but that doesn't help with the purpose to "quicker" as stated in my original post. Also, I'm also not certain that even if you could change it, would this change what Citizens One has on file already due to the application process? Maybe the second time is for the tax only and not to change what citizens has.

If you cant, you miss out on the 3% for you initial payment. Not a huge deal, but why not fix it? Maybe since it will do a HP? I haven't been hit with one so i guess YMMV.

On second thought, you’re probably right, but it’s pretty easy to change the card that CB charges each month. I did that last month after I got the AC. So you might only “lose“ one payment if you’re on a monthly payment plan.
