I've searched but couldn't find how to change the "open with" applications listed. Adobe put a million entries in there when I installed photoshop and I don't need them all. Thanks in advance.
On my computer, the files seem to be stored in Applications > Photoshop Folder > Samples > Droplets. The two folders in the "droplets" folder contain the items you are talking about. I assume you would just get rid of these and they would vanish from the open with... menu.
Yeah, there was a thread about this a while back... Can't be arsed to find it, but our conclusion was that if you don't use those droplets, you can just trash them (or make a zip of their folder and trash the original) with no ill side-effects.
Run this in terminal, it will rebuild your LaunchServices database.
I don't know who originally created this, but all credit goes to him/her.
/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user
