Character "y"

Hi- With my iMac, whenever I use type a word that ends in "y" the cursor skips back a character and I start inserting letters before the "y." I've especially noticed this in Safari. How do I make this stop?

Sounds like you might be either inadvertently hitting the back arrow when you reach for the y (well, really y + space bar, since it only happens at the end of words), or you've got a keyboard with a very odd tracer problem. Try swapping out the keyboard to test theory #2 and then be very attentive with your typing (ie hunt-and-peck) to test #1.
