Well something interesting popped into work today.
That...is a G4 cube. I think it was in a fire or in some sort of industrial setting. Amazingly the actual internals weren't dirty, goes to show what a lack of fan really does.
If you look carefully at the I/O port you'll see that the sticker looks damaged. What REALLY happened was the protective wrap was never removed. I've probably removed the last I/O sticker from a cube!
The cube booted fine to the blinking question mark folder after reconnecting the power button cable. Part of me wants to throw a ton of parts into it and make it a hot rod, but $$! Would still be cool though.

I'm not going to fix the case or wipe out the inner shell (only the outer so I wouldn't get dirty handling it).
