Charge iPhone 8/X with Watch 3 charger?

Anybody heard something about using the Watch 3 wireless charger to charge your iPhone 8/X

Is this compatible (besides the speed of it)

I don't see how this will be possible. And the reason I say that, is if you look at the charging puck on the Apple Watch on the charger, it's not completely flat, where it has to conform to the back of the Apple Watch surrounding the sensor. Even if it could work, the iPhone would have to make direct contact with the charging puck, which I don't think it could do.
