yeah, maybe I can duct tape that to my car's dashboard (well even then I am not sure the phone will stay docked, doesn't look very firm on it)

the belkin adaptor won't come out till october. and will be sold at apple stores.

This thing is perfect! This is exactly what I need. A better solution than I was even envisioning.... Now if I could actually order one...

yeah, it's pretty cool. The only thing is that it has one USB port only. The car adapter I use at the moment has multiple ports as I normally have more than one device in the car; and my car has only one power plug. I may just have to go buy a new car LOL.

They all seem to not have a microphone talking feature. my bluetooth headset sucks for calls, but is amazing for music. When I'm at work, sometimes my phone is plugged in being charged and I use the plug in earphones to talk on the phone at the same time. Looks like i'm better off just buying better microphone equiped blue tooth ear phones, which is unfortunate. the ones i have are Soundpeats

I'm looking for a good adapter for my wife's car which only has an AUX line in and I'm just realizing now how much of an issue that is for us too. Neither of us are huge phone callers while driving, but when we need it we really need it. I'd rather go AUX since there's less steps involved to get connected, but I might have to settle for a Bluetooth adapter.

You'll want to get this one after it releases: http://www.scosche.com/lightning-to-3-5
