Hi..I just got my macbook Pro 13 few hours back..

I was showing 5.21 hours with 65% of battery..
Then I transferred all of my data from the iMac via Time Machine and charged it to 100% and then restarted it now..

Its showing, 99% and 2 hours .

WTF ??

Apple says 10hours min for Macbook Pro. God damn, what Am I missing ?

Have you calibrated it yet?

Have you taken a look at Activity Monitor ( Applications / Utilities / ) and selected All Processes and sorted by CPU to see what the culprit may be.

image below uses sorting by CPU as an example

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions: Apple Notebook Battery FAQ

Open Activity Monitor and see the CPU usage. I would guess Spotlight is indexing and thus putting load on CPU meaning more power is used resulting a shorter battery life.
