Mine charges all the way up to full from below 10% in an hour and a half.
This is when I'm completely shutting down the OS X, and charging it.
I was very surprised.

Yeah, mine is actually way faster on the chargeup (haven't timed it "officially"). The estimation gave me 3:04, but it was about half that when it got to 100%.

1hour 54 minutes from 2% to 100%.

Charging on new MacBook Air is incredible. Even faster than my iPhone 5. It took around 1hour 54minutes from 2% to 100%.

From 3% - 100%, an astounding 1hr 48 min. Absolutely incredible, considering I was running VMWare half the time, and had music playing in the background.

My 11" Air charges faster than my iPhone too. From completely dead (powered itself off) to 100% takes a little bit more than an hour. Amazing.

on a related note (but kinda on a tangent)

Is the charger that is for the NEW 2013 Mac Air the same charger as the 2012 Mac Air? I noticed the magnetic head are visibly different.

But are they compatible?

Ya, I was extremely impressed on how fast the Air's charge (11") compared to my rMBP or any other MBP I have ever owned.

You can almost just sit there and watch the meter go up.

Between 1 1/2 - 2 hours when it's almost fully drained (less than 5%). Not bad at all.

I was in the 15-20% range and it took around 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hrs.

Crazy fast.

Also it said 20 hours remaining when I had 1 Safari tab open. haha
