I have a 2.4 MacBook that is 1 week old. I have barely used it, and it has been fully charged, run down to reserve, and fully charged again. Charging gets to 80% or so in a decent amount of time, but then the last 20% is taking quite a long time with little to no use in sleep mode.

Is this normal?

its definitely normal...the new macbooks take a while to charge up. that last 20% seems to take about an hour and a half it seems, so im thinking Apple purposely changed the trickle charge setting for the batteries to charge slower...

My last 20% is taking 4-6 hours.

yes. and read the fine manual next time :p.

I'll have to run mine down and charge it back up, but I'm pretty sure it's waaaaaay more than that.
