I just bought a new iPod nano. I'm doing all the syncing with my MacBook, but was wondering if there was a way I can charge it using my PC. It's formatted for Macintosh and right now, whenever I plug it in, the error message keeps popping up. It's not that big of a problem, just an annoyance.

I don't think I'll be charging it this way that much, but, when I need the extra desk space and need to charge it then, I'd like it to be perfect.

I guess that's what I get for using a PC, huh??

I charge my iPod on a Windows computer without syncing it. To accomplish this, I just disabled the iPod service from running when Windows starts.

There should be a "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in your taskbar. You can also eject the iPod from My Computer.
