I just received some charger cables i order from Amazon for my 5S. when i plugged them in I got message saying it is not an approved cable, something to that effect. Is that just a CYA or should I not be using this cable.
thanks in advance

Does it still charge the device when the error message come up? I had a few cables that give the error and charge and some that give the error and don't.

I have one of those lightning cables that the entire cable lights up...the more charge required the faster the light blinks...as the iPhone is charged to its max, the light is slow..kinda neat but total FAIL...

I got the same message of incompatibility...it stops charging completely so I have a useless cable. I should try to get my money back (Ebay).
