I picked up a 13 Mini yesterday. The rep insisted I needed a new charger block, so I bought it, but have not opened it as I want to be sure.

I'm coming from a 2016 SE.

Can someone tell me which of these can, or should not be used with my new Mini? Thanks!

At night I use the large Apple block that came with my Retina iPad, with an Anker lightning cable.

On my desk I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VH8ZW02/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

In the car I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XSD2DK7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You can use any of the ones you listed. I think what the rep was telling you was that the 2016 SE came with a USB A block and USB A to Lightning cable. The 13 comes with a USB C to Lightning therefore you need the USB C block. It's not that they won't work he likely assumed you only had the older square block and the cable that comes with the 13 won't fit that. The older 5w blocks will also be extremity slow use 10w or above like the iPad ones.

Thank you! I haven't used the tiny blocks in years. They did mention the USB C issue but insisted I needed a new charger too.

I see the new cable won't fit into any of my chargers, but as long as the phone still accepts the older Lightning cables I should be fine? I got dire warnings about burning stuff up. If I'm going to get a new bedside charger I'll go wireless.

You can still use your old cable that came with your SE. It's still a lighting connector so you'll be fine if you don't want to purchase a new set of chargers for the new cable that came with the mini.
