Charger light not on

Over the past few weeks I've noticed a couple of times when the MBA is fully charged but the magsafe light is off.

As soon as i disconnect & re-connect it goes green.

Is this on purpose i.e. after a period of full capacity, in order not to burn the bulb it goes off?

Most possibly it's the lights fault. My orange light used to flicker like that and then it died completely, so I have to rely on the battery charge indicator to check if the charger really works. Got used to it.

I think it turns off when it's at the complete max. Don't let it bother you. Nothing is wrong, mine does the same and with my last macbook.
