This morning I accidently knocked my Powerbook G4 off my bed and in doing so I bent the metal part of my charger. How I don't know?!

Anyway.. I went down to the Apple store and purchased a new charger but now as I'm using it for the first time it seems like it's not working.

Problems..

- It was quite hard to get it into the charge socket on my Mac. I don't know why. I thought it should fit it easy enough.

- The light around the input on the charger is ORANGE but it's not charging my mac. Looking at the toolbar on the top of my screen, the battery is running low and the charger is charging.

Does anyone know why? I went into the Apple store, told them I had a Powerbook G4 and they gave me the replacement charger.

Hope you can help.

Billy

Clearly you damaged your laptop. You could either fix it yourself (I suggest ifixit.com) or pay Apple to fix it.
