charger replacement???

since the day i bought it,

(i remember the very first time i plugged in, it gave sparks but i ignored because i was very excited about the new air)

it gives sparks for like 7/10 times when i plug it in

of course the switch is ON when i plug in, but sometimes even when its plugged in without the switch on, IT GIVES SPARKS WHEN I SWITCH IT ON.




i already bought apple care


but its been 1 year and 20 days since i bought the mac


will they replace it?


I ignored so long because i thought apple will charge me....but now - this could KILL ME SOME DAY,WHAT YA THINK?

Have you tried another charger? Why not take your Air to an Apple store and try one of their chargers and if necessary have problem assessed?

well an apple store is pretty far from where i live,so want to make sure before i do it.


also, its to just our house....its ANYWHERE I go, the sparks do come.

Know anybody else with an Apple laptop and similar charger? This sounds too dangerous to continue as is.
