Charger stopped working on Day 2

So uhh

I charged my new iphone 5 overnight and it worked fine

Now though if i plug it back in it doesn't charge

I tried it with a different lightning charger and it did work.

I called apple and I'm getting a new one obviously but for something like this to happen in 2 days is really scary.

Mine has stopped working also. Did you call for support or did you have to go to the Apple store?

This appears to be relatively common. My first one wouldn't charge so I took it in. Apple didn't even confirm it, they just gave me a new one.

I got lucky, soon all they will give out is refurbs. That's the policy. They get refurbs very soon since all the phones used by Apple staff get returned refurbished & placed in the inventory for situations like this.
