why is it l can charge USB C phone, accessories with USB C to USB C cable, but cannot charge my mac air with it, using either the PD or USB C socket. PD suppose to be a high power version of USB C allowing up to 100W. however on this plug, the back says max 20W, type C max 15W, QC 3.0 max 18W and the other 3 USB sockets 3 / 15W max.
can someone tell me
1. why doesnt mac air charge?
2. are the 3 USB sockets only 3 W when all sockets are connected or only the 3 USB sockets?
3. same for all other sockets, are the max all realised even with all other sockets plugged in?
4. is this 3 in 1 cable charge as fast as just a single lightning, usb c or android cable?
just found out that even though it doesnt work with the original Apple USB C cable or a 'fast charging 100W' USB C to USB C cable, it does work with the 3 in 1 cable shown in this pic and another bog standard USB A to USB C cable. why?

thanks
