My husband has just bought an iPhone 4. We've been told that iMessages, FaceTime calls & MMS messages between our iPhones are free. Is this true?

It is true as long as you have a data plan with your carrier

i will add that it would work with any applicable apple device, ie. ipod touch and iPad. also if you use facetime over 3G, you will use whatever data that you are allocated.
