Charging battery

Hello,

Is the battery affected in any way when you charge it to 100% and then leave it plugged in for another lets say 5-8 hours? I'd like to charge my battery overnight when I'm sleeping. It's an iPhone 4s.

batteries have changed and leaving it on extra wont hurt it. you can also cycle your battery like a macbook and adjust any discrepancies you might think would be with your battery.
