Hi, I’m a supporter of the original Apple charging cable, after seeing a couple of colleagues that over time have destroyed the connecting port using cheap lightening cable.

I bought an iPhone 15PM with USBC port and I’m wondering if Amazon generic cable can do any harm to Che phone.

I need to buy some other cables but:

1) Apple usb C cost 35€ (2mt)
2) can’t find an Apple USB-A TO USB-C for the original 12w wall charger.

I’d like to listen to your opinions 👍

I recently bought the Amazon Basic USB-A to USB-C cable for CarPlay with my iPhone 15, it works well. Mind you, it is only a USB 2.0 rated speed cable (up to 480Mbps data transfer speed), so if you also plan to transfer large amount of data with your iPhone 15PM, then you have to look for faster and more expensive USB 3.1 or Thunderbolt rated cables.

I like this one with a 90 degree end. Heard about it on macgeekgab.

I got this adapter for my dad instead of another cable. He said the Apple Carplay works for him.
