Has anyone notice that iPhone 4s charging cable is thinner for some reason? I didn't notice till today cause I was using my iPhone 4 charger during the weekend , any ideas of why? Does it charged the same for you guys ?

Because they wanted it that way? Charge is exactly the same. Who cares.

That cable you have pictured with your 4s cable is not an iPhone 4 cable. It is likely a 3gs cable or older. Apple redesigned there cables to make the connectors more square, they also may have changed the thickness. although i checked and they looked the same. Allthough your old cable may have been stretched from lots of use.

Oh yeah lol actually is my iPhone 3GS ha ha , idk what to do with so many of them I have them all over the house just in case tho ha ha

More importantly, the strain relief is longer! Hopefully no more exposed shield wires that freak out my kids.

Yeesh, people, pull on the head of the wire, not on the wire itself. You'd think we'd learn that much by now

They're all thinner (and poorer quality) than the cables they used to throw in with the iPods before the iPhone came out. The cable from my 2g nano is still in mint condition (even though I've subjected it to quite a bit of abuse). The one from my iPhone 4 started losing its jacket even though it's been permanently hooked up to my wall since I bought it (never moved)

My girfriends iPhone 4 cable and my 4S cable are exactly the same thickness.

I have also NEVER had one fail on me.
