Does everyone remove a headphone jack when ipod touch is being charged? I'm using a supplied ipod USB cable to charge. I cannot disconnect the cable without removing the headphone jack after charing is done. Is there any method I can use to disconnect the ipod USB cable without removing the headphone jack?

I'm thinking of purchasing an ipod universal dock, but it looks like it cannot be used with the headphone jack inserted.

I don't have that problem. I can unplug and plug in my ipod with the headphone jack attached.

I have a 2g ipod touch, and the connector can be "pulled" out with the headphone plugged into the touch. The ipod end of the connector doesn't have tabs that need to be squeezed. Does your cable have tabs or no tabs?

You know what? I been using the cable came with 4G ipod. I did not use the cable came with the ipod touch. I'll check it tonight. I feel silly.
