I have set my charging limit to 90%, but after the update it goes beyond that. Has happened twice so far.
Anyone else noticied this?

Not saying its a big thing and there might be that the battery is recalibration or whatever. Haven't seen it before tho.

Even prior to 18.7 your phone will have occasionally charged past the limit you set, so this behavior sounds normal. As you said, probably recalibrating.

Yea, could be that. Will throw it on the charger now and see if it goes to 100%. Next up is to reset the charging limit and see if that helps. Minor bug of course, but always interesting to find out if its a bug or expected behavior.

Will update when I have tested a bit more.

My iPhone is recently new. IIRC, the first time after setting the charging limit, it went over. It never happened again. I have 16 charge cycles on the phone.

I just updated to iOS 18.7, and the charging limit is being respected, but only 1 charge on the new OS so far.
