I have an iPad Pro 11", iPhone 8, AirPods gen 1 and Apple Watch 4. Every time I go away even for one night I bring them all with me, and I bring chargers and adapters to charge them all. Phone and AirPods use the same USB to lightning-charger, but I need the USB-adapter for the watch, and also I bring the separate USB-C to USB-C charger for the iPad that came with the device.

I have not dived into wireless charging because I normally don't need it.

But it does feel like I can make travel charging more convenient if I bought some extra stuff...

Any recommendations on how to make this easier? I guess it's not possible to go totally wireless because of the iPad? Even if I were to buy the new wireless charing AirPods, I mean.

Thanks in advance!

With wireless charging, you're not going to go down in gear only add more, since you'll still need the same power block, the same cable, plus an additional wireless charging pad. (possibly multiple pads depending on how many devices you decide to do)
Wireless charging is also typically slower than wired, so for a quick fill up while you run to your room, wired will give you a bigger boost (and with your phone, if you get a USB-C to lightening cable, you get an even bigger boost)
the wireless pads vary, but a majority use mini-USB, so you would need to carry a mini USB cable, and a lightening cable.

I would look at a power block with more than one output, something like the "PowerPort Speed PD 5" from Anker, It's got 4 USB, and 1 USB-C port, Plus it has a cord, So if the wall outlet is hidden behind the table, you can still plug your devices relatively easily since the USB ports will be on top of the table.
Then you're only carrying the one power block, with a cable for each device.

For home use I do have this wireless charging pad from nomad. by my bed, It will let you do the watch, AirPods and phone all wirelessly, It uses a wall block with a round power cord, so no regular USB ports to use for other things. You would still need something separate for the iPad.

Although, I'm not sure what options you have in Norway, If Anker products are available, I would look through their offerings for USB power options.

And as a side note, at least in the US, you can buy just the wireless AirPod case seperatly, It will work for the 1st generation AirPods.
