Charging my iPhone 4

Is it safe for me to use 30 pin adapter cables from older iDevices to charge my relatively new iPhone 4? Thanks in advance.

Yes, they're all the same. I've charged a 3GS, a 4s, and iPad 1 and a new iPad all with the same cable and chargers with no problems.

I'm using a 5 year old adapter cable that came with my old iPod, and it seems to be working just fine.
