Hi all. I thought I was having an iPad charging problem when I was charging my new iPad overnight with the 10W charger and a 6' long third party cord I got off...I can't remember. Maybe Ebay? Anyways, overnight it would max out at 90ish% and display "not charging" everytime I went to charge. I finally realized it was the 6' cord was plugged up so I swapped it with an OEM cord and wallah, it charged to 100%. Any idea what would cause this longer cord to prevent full charging. It charges my iPhone 4S and worked on my iPad 2.

ipad 3 need allot of pwoer. even more than the ipad 2. longer third party cords very often have a power loss in the cable due to its length and sometimes buildquality. its not enough to not preform on an iphone but will knock the ipad3 over. as far as i know its not dangerous tough. only annoying.
