Hello all, I've had my 13-inch macbook pro for nearly 4 years ago and I've been experiencing several charging problems. It's a Mid-2010 model.

The charging problem has occurred a few times before. I guess, from the moment I bought it until today, it has happened 6-7 times? Those times, I thought maybe it has some dust in the charging port because after I cleaned it, it worked. Once it refused to charge because there was a staples stuck in the port.

Anyway, last night the battery was running low at 6%, so I connected the charger. It charged up to 32% and then I noticed it stopped charging. The charging light was off too. I clean again, but it still wasn't charging. Left it alone for a while and try to charge, no luck. I used cotton bud and tissue to really clean whatever were in the port & magsave and it charged! Seriously, it was just normal amount of dirt. Anyway, problem solved.

But tonight, it happened again. Cleaning didn't help. Keep plugging and unplugging the magsafe. When it was connected in a certain way, it charged.

I live in Indonesia (macbook was bought when I was still living in the US) and we don't have an official apple store here, just authorised resellers. There is no genius bar and I'm pretty sure I know more about apple products than the sales people do. Is it safe to say that the problem is with the charger?
