Hi guys, trying to diagnose faults. Using Coconut Battery it's showing a charging wattage of between 7.0 and about 9.5. Is this normal? thanks.

First what faults are your trying to diagnose and why do you think they are related to charging? Also, what system?

Second, charging wattage can very a lot depending upon the charge in the battery, load on the system, etc. A better test would be to run your system down to x%, don't use it, and see how long it takes to recharge to 99/100%. Then compare those to what others are seeing.

Using El Capitan.
So basically I have an after market battery and charger, and it's charging extremely slowly, but draining very fast. Trying to figure if it's the battery or charger, or both. Or even whether the charger could be at fault, it's registering as a 60w charger but still charging slowly.

I've charged it to 100% and closed the lid, came back an hour and a half later and it's dead.

Then you already have a thread on this. Please do not create a second one.
