I understand the use of the optimized charging but I was wondering if it is better to do that and have to put the watch on the charger more often, or if charging to 100 percent and getting two days out of it before having to charge again is better. I have optimized charging limit on my Ultra 2. When I get up in the morning and take it off the charger, it is usually at 77 or 76 percent, not 80 percent. I have an AW8 and have been charging to 100 percent every day and the battery life is still 100%.

Check out this thread:

Fwiw, my Ultra 1 was charged every other night to 100% and after 1 year battery health was 99%.
For my Ultra 2 I turned “optimized charge limit” off as battery dropped to 10% after charging to 80% with the same usage pattern and I consider that more “dangerous” to the battery vs charging to 100%
