Does anyone know if you can charge a USB-C Mac Pro using a USB-C to USB-A Adapter or a adapter?

I have USB ports in my power sockets and was either going to buy a second Power Adapter for home or a adapter/cable and plug directly into the USB socket in the wall??

I can't see why it wouldn't work, as the Mac should see the current, just wondering if anyone has done this?

A USB socket in the wall will have a very lower power rating, something like 5w. Perfect for charging iphones/ipads, but will charge the MBP very slowly...

USB-A isn't suited for charging these kind of devices because it doesn't support the higher voltage and higher amount of amps that is required. You need USB-C for that.
