I'm thinking of "topping up" charging of the Watch throughout the day when I'm not wearing it. Would this be harmful for the battery or do you think it'll be ok?

Thanks.

No it won't harm the battery. Todays batteries are designed to withstand constant charging. The watch will only take as much charge as it needs.

Thanks, thought not, but thought I'd better double check before I do it. I know it shouldn't need it, but I'd rather start the day with it on 100% for piece of mind like I do with my iPhone.

My days are very long. I'd put the watch on at 5:30am after showering and take it off around 10pm before going to bed. Hopefully it lasts. I'm sure the first week or so will be rough because I'll be playing with it non-stop. But after that, I'm hoping I'll be fine. My Pebble spoils me. I turn that off at night and it lasts forever. Its like my iPad. Can't remember the last time i charged it.
