Chav's are invading Texas

So, I was at my local starbucks this morning and what did I see. A barefoot chav staring at me. Thought all of you guys over in the UK would get a kick, there are chav's in Texas.

"The Chav's at night are big in nasty, <clap><clap><clap><clap> deep in the heart of Texas"

Actually, I guess depending on where you're from they could be different. Going to school in UT, they were anyone attending Utah State University (Aggie was the mascot).

Generally speaking, though, everyone knows the Aggies refer to Texas A&M. :rolleyes:

I bet the chavs down there even think they need to be even bigger chavs that the original. What with it being Texas and all. It's ok, though, because I still have not had a chance to make it across the pond to see actual chavs in their natural habitat :(
 
she definately wasn't american, she was big, fat, barefoot, and had a british accent. i think it is a hybrid of two species, white trash + chav = chav trash?

didn't look to much like an aggie either (no nugget ring). funny note though, is that a project i'm on is really screwed up that i am currently getting to work and the guy who bought all the equipment is an aggie.

Aggies are students that attend Texas A&M university.

Never... they couldn't afford the airfare. It was probably one of the rich toffs (a la Prince William) on their way home from a 'chav bop' party.

And alarmingly, I knew what an Aggie was... I even know the Longhorn salute :p

Again, chavs always wear shoes. I believe what you were dealing with was just good ol' American white trash.
 
Then that is a first for me white trash with a british accent. I did see something the other day on the TV that showed a UK girl rapper who was just signed by Jay Z. Something about a hoodie, I guess that could be called a chav, right?

Could this mean they're crossbreeding and giving rise to a new breed of SuperChav – larger, stronger and immune to the ASBOs we currently have available? At the rate those buggers reproduce we'll soon be overrun on both sides of the Atlantic! :eek:

A hoodie is an item of clothing – a sweatshirt with a hood. They are a popular type of clothing in Chav circles though, as well as with normal members of society. :)

EDIT: Is the girl you're thinking of Lady Sovereign (Louise to her mum)?
