I have a PowerMac G5 Dual 2.0 PCI-X Mid-04 I was wondering what a cheap card would cost that has 128 mb+ VRAM would cost? Thanks!

A Radeon 9600 XT would suit your stated requirements and is ~$30 on Ebay. It does have 128mb VRAM. I'm using one of these(modified) in my Quicksilver G4 and have been extremely happy with it.

I have a GEForce 6800 Ultra in one of my G5s. It is a fantastic card and cost me about $60 on Ebay.

i would think the 9650 because its 50 higher., does the 9650 support128 mb of ram

From what I understand, the 9650 is more or less the same as the 9600 Pro. It has 256mb of VRAM but is generally considered a worse performer than the 9600 XT.

There are still a lot of G5 benchmarks floating around the net, and everything that I've found showed that at least for gaming(if that's what you're interested in) the XT is a better performer in this application than the 9650.

Thanks everyone for replying! I found an ATI Radeon 9600 with 128mb VRAM for a mere 14.99 with shipping!
