Cheap iPhone dock

it will work, but it will not fit like your phone perfectly ( if you own a 3g or 3gs)

I bought hte same one, but i didn't like that there was a bit of jiggle room when I would dock my iPhone ( kind of unnerving)

i threw away the dock and bought the real apple one for $29.99

its worth it to have a dock that fits 100.00%

Does it support the phone ok? Yeah own a 3G, but it works ok with it?
 
I bought a similar one of these off ebay around 6 months ago! No problem and fully works for charging and sync!

No problems with mine!

Cant understand how Apple can charge x10 for the same thing!

umm cause one if a Chinese knockoff

The ebay dock worked fine , but when you put your phone in, you can still jiggle your phone when its in the dock ( you can jiggle it forward and side to side)

the iphone is a $400+ piece of electronic, and I dock my phone at least 3-4x a day.

It's just not worth the risk IMO to be stingy on something that might damage the dock connector

Don't believe me, go into an apple store and dock your iPhone, you'll see its a 100% perfect fit.. the phone shouldn't have any jiggle room

Can you link me to the one you have?
 
I bought a sync and charge cable from ebay and it even had an apple logo on it. When it arrived it was clearly fake and didn't even sync never mind charge :( I would be careful.

The apple docks are expensive but one alternative is the Gorillamobile stand ?

Handy for other things as well as a desk stand.

I would definitely stay clear of bargains that look too good to be true.

Thanks, but I think I want a dock. I reckon its worth a punt at 3quid! Wouldnt see why it wouldnt charge/sync?!
