I bought this LB-LINK ( Model : BL-WN2210 ) here in Japan for ¥1,400 = about US$12 before sales tax here in hot, steamy Japan two years ago. I have it working in High Sierra 10.3.6 and now, tonight, in Mojave 10.14.6.
The driver can be downloaded here - it comes with an UN-installer )

NOTE : Mojave might ask you to “Allow” the driver install in Preferences/Security &
Privacy/General. Open the Preference - enter your Password and hit “Allow”. . it
might ask you to do this twice.
2. After install & before re-start
As a precaution I ran “Kext Utility”. http://cvad-mac.narod.ru/index/0-4
3. After re-start you will now see the WiFi icon in the Finder toolbar.
you can now enter your WiFi password.
4. Airport Utility now see the dongle connected
5. As does System preferences / Network
This Chinese made USB WiFi dongle may not be the fastest on the block but it simply WORKS ! I saw some available on eBay.
For me it’s useful for sharing my printer and connecting my Mac Pro to my Mac Book Pro occasionally.
For about US.$13 it’s cheap and useful.
