Hi, I'm going to buy the new PB that should come out any day now, I was thinking of maxing out the RAM to 2gigabyte, but looking at the apple store, this seems kind of expensive. Does anyone know a good online store or some 3rd party ram that's cheaper and works fine inside a PB 17"?

chances are it will be a new type of ram so will come at a higher price.
advice as always is to get the ram up as much as you can afford as this makes OS X fly

depending on what apple ship the new powerbooks as either
512's are always cheaper and can make a good upgrade.
1gb sticks are always expensive and 2gb are slowley coming down in price but i've never seen one yet lol
