So I was going to make some prints with iPhoto, and noticed you can only do a 'quick order' of 4x6" prints. Then I realized that it's probably because 4x6" prints are 19 cents each, and 5x7" prints are 99 cents each!

I went to the Walgreens website, and their 5x7" prints are $1.99 each!
Why is such a small step up in size so much more expensive?

And does anyone have any recommendations for a photo printing service that is cheaper?

Thanks,
Lee Tom

Have you tried wal-mart? They're usually about the cheapest for most anything, so maybe it's true for prints as well. I looked at their site, but I had to log in to get prices, so I figured, that's probably your job.

Try www.snapfish.com

I use to work in a wholesale photolab and it's a pain to stop the machines (AGFA printers) and set them up for 5x7 prints. Also, the photopaper is really expensive of course. I'd say the most expensive part of the whole process.
Good lord that was mindnumbing work. I'm glad I'm out of there.
