Just wondered if the superdrive is my only option for an optical drive on the imac? Is it the only compatible external DVD drive?

If not can anyone recommend an alternative that costs less but looks more or less just like the superdrive?

The specifications don't have to match, like I don't mind if it's USB 2.0 or if the read/write speeds are slower.

BTW I'm in the United Kingdom

Thanks :D

Amazon search external dvd burner drive for mac. there are about 10 that cost anywhere from $30-$50. read the reviews but most work with mac no problem.

I just bought this one for $31:
