So like the title does anybody know of a cheaper alternative to a Bumper?

I already spent near 20 bucks on a shield, need some drop protection but 30 bucks is pretty pricey for that rubber tire.

Someone posted this link yesterday.

http://www.bumprs.com/

I don't know if their legit though. Anyway I don't like using knockoffs, I'm happy using the apple bumper as I prefer quality over price any day.

I don't necessarily mean a knock off that is just like it, but something similar be it another brand that offers similar protection at a cheaper price.

As I posted in another thread, Marware, iLuv, and Scosche all have edge-only style cases. HTH!

these bumprs appear to be made of that TPU material...so take that for what its worth...I love how they use an official Apple image in their advertising and then show their cheap TPU products in other pictures

It looks like the bumper style protection being developed by Agent 18, the "Shockband" will also be of TPU. I've not had any experience with this material for a case but I have enjoyed the quality of their products in the past.

Will have to see!
There has been another source of 'copies' (free bumpers as promotion thread somewhere), which leads me to think it is possible these are a clone of the Apple ones, rather than an entirely different design.
There is also an alternative option sold on the same site, so I'm sure they're aware that just 'cos it goes round the phone doesn't make it a copy of Apple's "style"

Made a new thread about receiving these bumpers.
The basic message is... Yes they do exist :) :)
