Cheaper Apple TV coming?

Any chance that we will ever see a more cheaper unit coming from Apple to compete with the cheaper tv streaming units out on the mkt, such as Amazon Fire Stick or Roku have?

They did a cheaper version of the iPhone a few yrs back just wondering if they would do the same for the tv portion.

I highly doubt it, main reason is they see the Apple TV brand as the flagship way to experience their content, and they already released the Apple TV app for other cheaper devices like Fire TV and Roku, which will cover the segment of the market interested in a cheaper Apple TV. Not saying it's impossible, but I haven't heard any rumors of the like, and I personally don't think it will happen.
