Hi. I'm new to this forum. I'm enrolled in a class where I need to run digitalCAT (court reporting) software but it's not compatible with Mac. I'm using a MacAir that runs on OS X 10.6.8. I was informed by a Best Buy geek that I would need to partition my drive with BootCamp so that I can run Windows. I would also have to buy Windows 7. I'm wondering if there are any cheaper options that will enable me to use digitCAT with my Mac. Best Buy said that the the labor for the software install will be $200 and that Windows 7 will cost about $150. Thanks!
