I'm an avid PowerPC lover, I kinda feel out of my little corner over here in the big city of the Intel section :p

But I am now looking to get an early Intel Macbook (As a paper round can't afford a new Macbook air unless I save up for about a year  )

What is the earliest, cheapest, lowest end Macbook out there?

I know it sounds ridiculous to ask for the most powerless Intel Mac out there but that is all I can afford.

Cheers guys :D

That would be the early 2006 Macbook, CoreDuo models. They cannot run Lion and still fetch a few hundred on eBay.

I Think you should go for a mid 2007, they run great, and can run lion, and cost the same at the 2006 core duo models. I Own one. Good luck!
