macmall is the cheapest as they dont have tax and their prices are near the education prices. That is unless you live where macmall charges taxes, or you are just naturally in a sales tax free area.

i dont think macmall ships to canada,oh well guess i'll buy in the apple edu. store,but isn't it only for college and university students? im only in grade 9 >_>

I got mine from portable one free shipping + no sales tax if you live outside of CA. It was substantially cheaper than apple's education store if you factor in sales tax.

They're also on ebay but with a slightly higher price

never too early to own a MAC ... ask around at your school, The school might have some program set up where they can actually get one into your hands as an Educational purchase.

Teachers can buy several Macs with Education pricing.
