Hi Guys,

I'm a freelance magazine journalist. Until recently I've been using an iMac but it's dying so I thought I'd replace with one of Apple's notebook options, to give myself some portability.

The only things I need to use it for are:

Entourage and Safari
inDesign CS5 - for opening designed pages, reading and making text changes only.

I don't use Photoshop etc and everything else - itunes and suchlike - I run through my iPad.

The big issue, obviously, is cost. Bearing in mind that I'm working with inDesign for 8 hours a day I don't want it to be deathly slow (nothing annoys me more than a time lag when trying to scroll around a page) but I can't afford to spend an absolute fortune either.

What model would you recommend as offering the perfect speed/expense sweet-spot for my needs?

Loads of thanks in advance,

Josh
