Cheapest place to buy a Macbook in NY

Hi,

We're in the US just now and looking to pick up a Macbook for my wife. She's not bothered about the latest updates with the improved video cards and CPU, so we're really looking for the cheapest place to pick up a white Macbook of any spec.

Just wondering where people would recommend? We'll add Applecare later on so aren't bothered about extended warranties.

The Apple store will most likely have the lowest price for a MacBook. Third party retailers markup the price.

Macs have a small markup. You will find prices to be about the same anywhere in NY. If you're in Manhattan, try Tekserv. They might have some old stock left.
