I use an Apple Wireless Keyboard with my iPod touch 4g. Is it possible to check the battery percentage with my iPod touch? I don't have a Mac, only a lousy PC. Does the length of the glow of the indicator light when switching it on have any indication? The manual says 5 seconds and I timed it to be 3 only recently. Does that mean it is 60 percent? Thanks.

go to General > Settings > Accessibility > Triple click home > VoiceOver
Then, triple-click home button and tap the battery.
It will say the battery %
Triple-click to turn it off

Sorry I think you misunderstood. I meant the battery percentage of the Apple Wireless Keyboard. I know that most users use their Macs to check it in System Preferences but I don't have one. I hope that I can know the percentage with either my PC or my iPod touch. Thank you. :D
