So I have some older bluetooth audio devices and I want to check the codecs used on them. Unfortunately the old way of doing it by hitting the option key when clicking the Bluetooth menu does not work anymore. What's the current recommended method for checking Bluetooth codecs on the Mac?
 
just checked and no, it's not in system information. As far as I can see, it shows the available codecs/profiles for currently connected Bluetooth audio devices, but not the one it's actually using in the moment. I could be wrong. I usually am x
